About Us

Where preparing your child for school in a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment is our specialty.

Services

We currently offer the following: Care for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Care: Before and After-school, and Summer Camp. We provide breakfast, lunch, and a afternoon snack.

We understand how hard it can be to entrust the care of your infant to someone else. Of course, you want to be there for each smile, squirm, and squeal. With our infant childcare program, you will. We take a partnership approach with parents, from working with you, to developing your baby’s daily schedule to capturing special moments with photos and sending them to you. Each day, you receive detailed reports of your little one’s feeding, sleeping, diapering, and learning activities. At Eagle’s Nest Child Development Center, we ensure this first transition away from home is smooth for you and your baby.

In our toddler program, your little one can channel his or her boundless energy and curiosity into fun activities in a safe, stimulating environment. Professional, patient caregivers guide your toddler through this period of immense growth, fostering cognitive, Social-Emotional, and physical development through art, movement, music, reading, and active outdoor playtime. Within our well-structured toddler programs, your child will have plenty of choices with which to express his or her blossoming independence and self-confidence.

We understand that during this time of peak early development, two- and three-year-olds need secure environments and stimulating experiences. Our early learning curriculum is designed for curious minds and active little bodies. In our classroom settings, skilled teachers fill your child’s daily routine with a variety of engaging activities: arts and crafts, imaginative play, language, rhyming, and counting. Regularly making independent choices and working with a group of peers helps your child gain the strong cooperation skills and confidence necessary for success in preschool and beyond.

Kindergarten is more academic than it used to be, and many children enter unprepared. In fact, over 200,000 kids repeat kindergarten every year. High quality Pre-K education is essential to preparing kids for the next stage of learning and life. Our pre-kindergarten program builds on your child’s earlier learning experiences advance literacy, vocabulary, math, problem solving, and fine and gross motor skills. Independent and cooperative learning opportunities guided by our skilled, nurturing teachers serve to strengthen social skills, equipping your child to enter kindergarten with confidence.

A boost of confidence before school and help with homework, fun activities, and time with friends afterward—your child has it all in our before and after school care. In our safe, secure environment, our skilled teachers help your child set goals at the start of each day, and then prime them to continue learning, growing and laughing long after the school bell has rung. An array of engaging activities allows your child plenty of opportunities to move, socialize, and develop new skills and interests. Enriched mornings and afternoons serve as a valuable extension to your child’s elementary school experience.

I have my early childhood education credentials,I’m currently working towards my Associates degree in early childhood education. Infants are my favorite age group to work with, in the infant stage they are learning so many things. Like how to sit, crawl, talk and walk. I really enjoy being apart of this process. I have worked with all age groups from the little babies to the school age children. When I’m not at work I like to spend my free time with my children. We like to take camping trips and do movie marathons. I also enjoy working on the many craft projects I have going on. I crochet, make things with my cricut, and I make other things that I find on pinterest. I’ve currently gotten interested in baking again and trying to perfect a homemade apple pie. It is my pleasure to serve the parents and children here at Eagles Nest.

I have taught in a daycare for a total of 3 and a half years, I usually work with 2yr olds. I’ve worked with children since I was 13, whether it was babysitting, in a daycare, in my church, or my own four children. I have four teens of my own, three girls and one boy, ages 13,15,17,and 19. Yes, it’s a handful!! I love working with children because they bring joy to my heart! I always knew I wanted to be a mother and work with children. Kids challenge me on a daily basis, and I need that in my life. Before my time with Eagles Nest CDC, I worked with young adults with special needs. Being that my son is autistic, I feel like I am more understanding of all children and can relate to having a “unique” child. I treat all of the kids the same! Children have a special place in my heart and I feel like working with them is my true calling!

Andrea Jamison

Toddler's Teacher

Hello my name is Andrea Jamison.I have two wonderful children, I went to school in North Dakota for early childhood education. My experience there really helped me learn how to teach children who have different personalities.

Being around children brings out the best in me as I have a passion to teach children. Each child learns differently, this helps me to grow with them and continue learning. Toddlers are the most creative age group when it comes down to using their senses. Last but not least, something that sticks out about me is that I always build a friendship with the children that I am teaching.
